Autodesk Maya Tutorial : Muscle Advanced Techniques

The Maya Muscle Advanced Techniques tutorials assume that you have a basic familiarity with the main tools and features of Maya, as well as basic Maya rigging knowledge. At the end of Maya tutorials, you should have a good feel for how to use the Maya Muscle skin deformer for your own characters and projects. This lesson shows you how to set up an object to be deformed by the Muscle deformer with bones and joints. In this lesson you will prepare a rig for basic skin deformation and set initial weighting on your mesh. In the next steps you will paint some weights on the mesh. The Muscle Paint tool lets you paint capsule, bone, muscle, and other types of weights, as well as set weights on points, much like a component editor.
